How to Reverse Type 2 Diabetes and Prediabetes
Have you been told that you have prediabetes or are you a type 2 diabetic? Have you been told to follow the American Diabetes Association's recommendations? If you have, you've been advised to make your situation even worse.They are recommending that you eat carbs that keep your blood sugar and insulin levels high. They also recommend low fat foods, which are highly processed and have sugar and other harmful ingredients added to them to make them taste good. And worse, they often have artificial sweeteners which are terrible for your health. And all those carbs and little to no fat means you'll be hungry again in a few hours instead of feeling full and not being hungry again for several hours. And the cycle continues, your diabetes gets worse, and you gain weight.
So what do you need to eat in order to reverse type 2 diabetes or prediabetes? You need to eat a low carb, high fat, moderate protein diet. And I don't mean vegetable oil, canola oil, margarine or any of that crappy fat. You need to eat healthy fats found in avocados and avocado oil, butter, coconut oil, nuts, etc..
And did you know that food is not the only factor when it comes to reversing type 2 diabetes? Stress, not getting enough sleep, not getting enough exercise and exposure to toxins also play a part.
